The true Nigerian is believed to be the citizen that follows the rules of the country without blinking at the corruption s/he sees. S/he moves with the tide and raise no question. S/he doe not have time to vote or be voted for due to the fact that s/he does not have the time for such or does not feel the need to be politically active.
The question is, 'Are we mot all political'? The choices we make daily conflict itself before resolving itself. We see the need to choose a blue shirt over a yellow shirt, drink coffee instead of beverage, marry at an age we see fit; this decision determine our state of mind and the information we have at our beck and call. That is politics.
Today, we barely know our reps at ward level, and yet we claim the 'government' is bad. Is that true? Have we not neglected our role as citizens ?
